2013 Term 2 School Start
School begins for Term 2 at 9am on Monday the 6th of May, 2013.
Term dates for 2013 are available here.

Sausage Sizzle
The Sausage sizzle is every Friday.
Sausages - $1.50 (includes bread, sauce and serviette)
Iceblocks - $1.50

Board of Trustees Information Regarding Elections
There are eight nominations for the election of five parent representatives to the Board of Trustees at Waikowhai Primary School.
Voting papers have been sent out to all in the school community. Voting papers can be returned by either posting, in the envelope provided, or can be dropped in at the school office and deposited in the yellow box in the reception area.
Voting will close at noon on Thursday 30th May 2013.

Meet and Greet the Candidates.
Please join us for a cup of coffee or tea in the school hall at 3pm next Thursday 23rd May. This will be an informal opportunity for you to meet the Board of Trustees candidates before voting closes.

Warehouse Stationery
 Warehouse Stationery has a rewards system for schools. Every time you shop there, quote our school name and then our school gets reward points that we can use to go towards the purchase of class resources and equipment. Feel free to pass on our name to family and friends.

Scooter Zone
This term a section of the school playground has been designated as a 'Scooter Zone' for students to ride scooters. The scooter zone operates from 12.30 - 1pm every Tuesday and Thursday.

Sport
Saturday netball has started. We have two Waikowhai teams playing this season. They play at Mt Roskill Intermediate School courts every Saturday morning during term time. Feel free to come along and give support to our girls.
