Curriculum Overview
At Waikōwhai Primary we provide a variety of learning opportunities, guided by the New Zealand curriculum. Each year we have an overall theme. Learning experiences are then planned relative to this theme across the many different strands of the curriculum. The document below shows how the different learning areas are covered during the year.
We surveyed the school community to gather voice for our strategic plan. Part of the survey included the opportunity for our community to offer the three words they best think describe Waikōwhai Primary School. The responses have been summarised in the word cloud below.
