Innovative Learning Environments

In Term Two 2017, Waikōwhai Primary School opened an incredible shared space for the senior school students. This is an amazing opportunity for students to learn in a wider and more vibrant innovative learning environment (ILE). We have since opened an ILE space for our Year 3/4 middle syndicate and have a shared space in our Year 1/2 classes.

ILEs are a move away from the factory style education system and towards a more individualised approach to learning, allowing students the opportunity to excel and grow.
