Innovative Learning Environments

In Term Two 2017, Waikōwhai Primary School opened an incredible shared space for the senior school students, Te Waka Ako. This is an amazing opportunity for students to learn in a wider and more vibrant innovative learning environment (ILE). We have since opened three additional ILE spaces within our school.

ILEs are a move away from the factory style education system and towards a more individualised approach to learning, allowing students the opportunity to excel and grow.
